Media Pluralism Monitor 2020: Final conference in Florence

On January 31st, the CMPF hosted the Media Pluralism Monitor (MPM) 2020 final conference at the EUI in Florence, Italy. Members of each of the thirty country teams attended and, in the case of Spain, Professor Pere Massip participated in the meeting.

Conference participants explored the results of the MPM 2019 and heard special country presentations from the Albania, Croatia, Germany and Hungary country teams.

During the session, David Friggieri from the European Commission presented the ‘Media pluralism in rule of law mechanism and Democracy Action Plan’ session.

The results of the MPM will be presented in March before the European Commission.
